The Advisory Council meeting starts at 6 p.m. The following is the agenda:
- Postmodernism, Ecology, and Protected Areas - talk by Executive Director Jim Pojar
- Improving our communications What do you want to read in our newsletter? What do you think of an electronic newsletter? What makes you read a letter to the editor? What about radio coverage? Are our events effective? How about our displays? Web site?
- Planning for the lead-in to the next territorial election.

CPAWS presents True North Wild and Free - A National Celebration of our Boreal Forest, an evening of breathtaking photographs, stories and music inspired by the 2003 Boreal Rendezvous river journeys. Join wilderness storyteller and host James Raffan with special guests including writers, artists and musicians. Local musician Sonja Anderson will be taking part in the Whitehorse show, and other participants will be announced. Support the conservation of one of the last intact forests left on Earth.

All proceeds from book sales will go to CPAWS to support our continued work to protect Canadas boreal forests. True North Wild and Free is a component of the CPAWS National Boreal Forest Program and follows on the enormous success of the Boreal Rendezvous of summer, 2003.

Three Rivers Project Youth Art Competition
Submissions due November 12, 2004
This art competition is for Yukon youth aged 5 to 19 years, and it is associated with the Three Rivers: Wild Waters, Sacred Places Art Exhibition.

Three Rivers Journey Photography Exhibition

Yukon Arts Centre Grotto
Stunning photographs of the Wind, Snake and Bonnet Plume River landscapes and people, will be featured in the Grotto at the Yukon Arts Centre during the month of September.
The works of Marten Berkman, Courtney Milne and Fritz Mueller are a wonderful preview to the launch of the Three Rivers: wild waters, sacred place art exhibition, to be launched in mid-October.
