Three Rivers Journey Film Recognized at Waterwalker Film Festival
The Three Rivers: wild waters, sacred places film produced by CPAWS-Yukon to tour with the national Three Rivers art exhibition won an Honourable Mention in the Environment Category at the 2005 Waterwalker Film Festival. This Marten Berkman film documents the artistic exploration of the Wind, Snake and Bonnet Plume Rivers in the northern Yukon, including evocative footage of the people, rivers, forests and wildlife from these inspiring landscapes. Eight participating artists respond to the mystery of the northern wilderness.
The Three Rivers: wild waters, sacred places art exhibition was recently presented at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa, Ontario. The exhibition premieres on the west coast at the Maltwood Art Museum and Gallery in Victoria, BC, during the month of October. Take a look at the upcoming schedule for this exhibition here.
