Privacy
The following privacy policy will assist you in understanding the types of information about visitors to the site which we collect, and the availability of the material posted here for personal or public use.
Please refer to our Copyright page for more information on copyrighted content, acknowledgement of other copyrighted material, and guidelines on usage of material presented here.
CPAWS Yukon does not collect or distribute the e-mail addresses of visitors to our Web site. CPAWS Yukon does collect aggregate information on visited Web pages, and information volunteered by visitors. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web site, and is not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
The CPAWS Yukon Web site does not set any cookies.
E-mail communications will from time to time be distributed to interested parties who identify their e-mail addresses in communications with CPAWS Yukon. Please advise info@cpawsyukon.org if you prefer to receive communications by regular mail. We will not share your e-mail address with other organizations.
Merchandise orders placed via the CPAWS Store on the CPAWS Yukon Web site are processed by GiftTool, with whom CPAWS Yukon has a client agreement. Secure pages and databases for purchases and order fulfillment are actually hosted on the GiftTool Web site, although they resemble the CPAWS Yukon Web site in design. The information gathered through GiftTool is collected for order fulfillment, and may be used for future communications consistent with the purposes outlined above. Please visit GiftTool for additional information on their privacy and security practices. CPAWS Yukon does not maintain a secure Web interface at any other point on this site.
From time to time, we may use visitor information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to this page to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, please check this page periodically.
Draw Prize or Sign-Up for Information Forms
Any names or e-mail addresses given to CPAWS at special events for the purposes of draw prizes or other sign-up sheets, will not be sold or distributed to other organizations or individuals. CPAWS-Yukon may contact the person who provided their mailing address or e-mail with information about CPAWS conservation work. Upon receiving the information from CPAWS, the recipient will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe or decline further information updates from CPAWS.

The CPAWS Yukon Web site may link to the Web sites of organizations, groups and resources from around the world that we believe site visitors will find interesting or useful. These links are based on our knowledge of the site, organization or publication, and requests from groups we are unfamiliar with may not be accepted, due to the time required to exercise due diligence in this area.
CPAWS Yukon is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of linked Web sites. Although CPAWS Yukon makes every effort to link only to very high quality, professional organizations, parents are advised to review the material their children are viewing.
